Free Online Fiction, Novels and short stories from Rob Hopcott

This blog is a record of all the free online novels and short stories that I have written and posted online. I hope you enjoy them.

My sites have grown somewhat organically with many web space revisions over the years so it’s not always easy to find everything. This blog aims to provide a central reference point so that readers can always find my latest stories wherever I put them.

If you would like to know when I’ve written a new story, simply point your News Aggregator at this blog and the wonderful RSS technology will instantly tell you when I update this site with news of my latest story.

If you would like to know more about news aggregators and how they can help you receive news of updates without giving anybody your email address simply click on the link Why Use RSS News Aggregators? on the right hand side.

Links to all my free online stories can be found on the right hand side under Free Online Novels / Novellas and Free Online Short Stories by Rob Hopcott.

I hope you enjoy my writing :-)

Rob

Great news! Loads of people are using the aggregator facility.

Should I wish to offer a story or two, what would be involved?

    Hi Steve

I very much prefer to link through to people’s stories these days rather than putting them up on any of my sites.

If you haven’t got a web site, I would recommend going to blogger.com and getting a free blog. It’s pretty easy and non-technical to use therefore enabling you to concentrate on the creative side.

I’m making a lot of changes to my sites just now as well as writing lots of new stuff (hopefully) but, for the moment, if you go to

    http://fiction.hopcott.net

and follow the link at the top, you will find a link directory and a form to fill in. Basically, if you leave me details of your site, I will check it out and contact you if I’m happy to link.

There are other possibiliteis using blogs where you put a link through to one of my blog from your blog and the link is automatically picked up by my software for a link back. Unfortunately, I haven’t quite come to terms with this yet. It may be an easier method than the formal linking method.

    Hope this helps

    All best

    Rob

Nothing worse than blog without reader comments. Nice post. Support fellow bloggers and keep it free @patnox.com.
